Wireless Power Transmission– Science Hobby Project Abstract: Wireless power transmission is based on the principle of magnetic inductive coupling, where electrical energy is transferred from a transmitter to a receiver without any physical connection. When alternating current flows through the copper coil on the transmitter side, it produces a changing magnetic field around the coil. A second coil placed within this magnetic field intercepts the flux and induces an electric current, thereby recovering usable electrical energy at the receiver end. This process is governed by the fundamental laws of electromagnetic induction and enables efficient short-range wireless power transfer. The project illustrates how magnetic fields can be effectively harvested for wireless charging applications, offering a foundational understanding of modern contactless power technologies used in devices such as wireless chargers, sensors, medical implants, and embedded electronic systems.
