Description Corrective Action Training: Hazmat Packaging COURSE OVERVIEW This Corrective Action Training module provides drivers with remedial training related to hazmat packaging. Specifically, this course is designed to remind drivers to check for compliance when accepting, safely loading, securing, and transporting hazardous materials. After completing this course, drivers will be able to: Explain what to do before accepting or transporting hazardous materials. Identify how hazardous materials must be secured for transport. Describe ways to prevent hazardous material leaks. COURSE TOPICS Introduction Ensure packages are properly loaded and in compliance. Do not accept or transport non-compliant packages. Check the labels against the shipping paper. Secure packages against shifting. Carefully load the packages to prevent leaks. ONLINE COURSE DURATION Approximately 5 minutes PASS MARK Testing conducted throughout this online course is designed to reinforce the information presented. A mark of 80% must be achieved in order to receive a certificate of completion. Participants are able to repeat the course twice if the pass mark is not achieved.
