Description Corrective Action Training: Hard Cornering COURSE OVERVIEW This Corrective Action Training module provides drivers with remedial training related to hard cornering. Specifically, this course is designed to remind drivers to slow before turning, check mirrors, and look for pedestrians, and signs. After completing this course, drivers will be able to: Explain how to safely approach a turn. Describe what to watch for before turning a corner. Identify what to check during a turn. COURSE TOPICS Introduction Slow down when approaching a turn. Plan your actions accordingly. Let other drivers know you’re turning. Shift into the proper gear. Use your mirrors. ONLINE COURSE DURATION Approximately 5 minutes PASS MARK Testing conducted throughout this online course is designed to reinforce the information presented. A mark of 80% must be achieved in order to receive a certificate of completion. Participants are able to repeat the course twice if the pass mark is not achieved. CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION Upon successful completion of this online course, a certificate of completion will be available for download and printing. COURSE PREVIEW
