The Dance by J. Morante

French art deco silvered bronze dancer, signed to the bronze socle base Morante. There were originally 3 models of a this dance group – each in a different pose. Mounted on a vedegre (green) marble base. The 3 can be seen in the Catley book on page 239. 18 inches (46cm) high to her top hand. Condition is vintage but good with the expected ageing to the patina.
