The Aristocrats by Professor Otto Poertzel

Austrian art deco cold painted bronze and ivory (chryselephantine) statue known as the Aristocrats. Modelled as a maiden walking her 2 borzois dogs,  Statue is mounted on a bronze panel which is fixed to a Brazilian green onyx base panel. Signed in the cast – Professor Otto Poertzel (1876 – 1963) and a foundry mark. It measures 16 inches (40.5cm) high, 15.75 inches (40cm) wide. In excellent condition with a join mark showing to the back of back arm.
